How Scanify handles staff accounts and integrity-check data — without unnecessary detail.
1. Who this covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Scanify handles information for staff who sign in with Discord, and for people who run ScanifyCheck.exe during a PIN-based integrity check.
If you are a player being checked, your server staff asked you to run the scanner. Only continue if you agree to that check.
2. Staff account data
When you log in, we use basic Discord profile details (such as ID, display name, and avatar) so we can attach licenses, Enterprise seats, PINs, and bans to the right account.
We may also store preferences you set in the dashboard (for example appearance) and detection rules you add for your own checks.
3. What a scan may include
ScanifyCheck.exe gathers technical signals from the PC being checked — enough for staff to review integrity, not to build a marketing profile.
That can cover general system context, recent software activity, network/DNS traces, browser download history where available, and other runtime or file clues that help spot known cheat tooling. Matched hits are summarized for the staff who created the PIN.
We keep the player-facing experience limited: the scanner sends the report to staff; it does not open a full results page for the person being checked.
4. Why we need it
Data is used to run PIN checks, show verdicts to authorized staff, enforce licenses and bans, and keep detections useful over time.
We do not sell this information or use scan reports for advertising.
5. Where it lives
Reports and account records are stored on the Scanify server so staff can reopen past checks. Sign-in is kept via a session cookie; we do not park your Discord password with us.
6. Who can see reports
By default, a report is for the staff member who created the PIN, plus platform owners and Enterprise managers when that applies.
Staff can optionally make a result visible to other licensed staff. Public views focus on verdict and detection labels — not dumping every private path onto the open web.
7. How long we keep it
PIN sessions and reports stay available while they are useful for staff review, or until an owner/staff delete action (or routine cleanup) removes them. License and ban records are kept as long as enforcement needs them.
8. Your choices
Staff can log out at any time. To ask about removing staff-account data, contact the owner on the official Discord.
Players who do not want a check should refuse to run the scanner and talk to their server staff instead.
